Write about a nightmare you had.
I don’t usually have nightmares, but I’ve had two or three. Two that are legit nightmares, one that was just a dream gone bad or something.
The first one was when I was like, three, or something. I sometimes used to watch Inspector Gadget with my siblings, but I didn’t really like it. (My sister helped clarify this the other week; I used to think it had something to do with the Care Bears, haha!) So there’s this big guy who wears a cloak and hood so that it covers his face and he has no eyes or anything because of this. Well, when I was little, I dreamed he was standing over my bed. There was also an orange tabby cat sitting on the railing of my bed over my head. When I went to wake up because I was scared and start screaming, the man disappeared, but the cat remained.
After going over everything, I’ve come to realised that I might not have woken up when I thought I did and had one of those moments in a dream where you think you’ve woken up but really haven’t. Also, I’m pretty scared of orange tabby cats still. D:
The second was when I was six. When I five, my family adopted this really cute dog that was about the same size as me, maybe bigger. Her name was Belle and we loved her so much. Well, we had to give her away when I was six because we were always out of town and she was always at the kennel, so it wasn’t fair to her. It was around the time that I found out that she had been given away that my nightmare came.
In the nightmare, my siblings and I, and Belle were in the van we had at the time, and my Dad was driving down the highway heading West (I recognised the scenery), and all of a sudden, he opened the sliding door and pushed Belle out. She wasn’t hurt or anything, but it was the fact that he pushed her out. When he looked at us, we saw that he was evil. In an instant, we all jumped out of the van after Belle, as we hadn’t gone more than a few inches somehow, and he drove off without us.
It freaked me out more than anything. I was sad when I was told I wouldn’t be able to play with Belle again, so this probably had something to do with that.
Now, that dream was a weird one. It was just after I watched the first four episodes of Supernatural for the first time. It was the middle of the night when it happened, and I woken up somehow, and I looked over at my TV and was freaked out. Atop my TV sat this lamp and behind was my window, all square shapes, which freaked me out as I was afraid something was going to come through them. I kept thinking that it was after I watched Bloody Mary that this happened, but I know that’s not true. But, I turned away from the squares and went back to sleep as if nothing happened.
Meh. Those are my nightmares. The ones I remember anyways.
